The Annual Briefing for civil society organisations (CSOs) is a good example of the cooperative relations developed by the Bank with civil society and its representatives. The Bank has produced a video of the 2009 Briefing for CSOs including part of the discussions held between CSOs and EIB representatives as well as statements by EIB Vice President Philippe de Fontaine Vive Curtaz. Mr. de Fontaine Vive explains the importance of the civil society input on the Bank's activities. He illustrates the dynamics of EIB-CSOs cooperation and the meaning of the Annual Briefing. Civil society organisations welcome this annual initiative as an important opportunity to exchange views with the EIB.
